When the world’s only completely contact-free instrument meets the virtuoso jazz musicians of the WDR, jazz standards and pop classics take on a magical new dimension. This unique program features iconic pieces such as the Star Trek theme and Duke Ellington’s soulful In a Sentimental Mood. As part of this WDR music education concert, audiences can also look forward to a special highlight: a brief introduction to the theremin and a hands-on lesson—right on the stage of the Kölner Philharmonie!
