Carolina Eyck brings music from her newest album, Elegies for Theremin & Voice, to National Sawdust for this concert celebrating the album's release and the centennial of the invention of the theremin. Elegies for Theremin & Voice features Eyck's inventive original compositions and improvisations — a meditation on mortality and loss, it is a haunting work in which Eyck surprises us with her vocal prowess.

This concert will utilize National Sawdust’s new surround sound system, allowing Eyck’s theremin to break free and fill the space, in sync with the movement of her dance-like performances.
