The passion for musical education is at the core of Carolina Eyck’s work. She has conducted workshops, lectures and master classes worldwide. From the ground-breaking theremin method book she wrote to an inspiring TEDx talk and private lessons she offers, Carolina creates a safe and inspiring space to explore the art of playing the theremin.

Individual theremin lessons are available to players at all levels and include all music styles. You can also get personal feedback on compositions and recordings and ask questions about the theremin and playing technique by booking an online consultation. Please check available times below. You don't need to own a theremin to be able to book a consultation.

If you are interested in regular lessons, please talk to Carolina after your first lesson. Regular students are welcome to join a monthly masterclass and are eligible to purchase lesson packages for a discount. Places in Carolina’s theremin class are limited.Carolina does not conduct individual lessons for the Moog Theremin. Please find recommended theremin models here.

Trautonia's theremin lessons are primarily aimed at beginners who want to learn a solid playing technique and at people who want to discover something new for themselves with the instrument. Trautonia has been working together with Carolina on her new theremin method book as a co-author since 2016. She teaches the playing technique of Eyck.

Trautonia herself discovered the theremin over twenty years ago. In 2005 she received her first lessons from Barbara Buchholz. Since then she has regularly attended Theremin Acedemies, where she learned her craft from professionals such as Carolina Eyck, Lydia Kavina and Thierry Frenkel. In 2010 she began to share her knowledge in private lessons, and later in workshops. As a singer and thereminist she regularly performs solo and with various projects on stage. Her own projects are in the field of popular and experimental music. In her home studio in Hamburg she produces her music and teaches her students in person or online.
